Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Learning Accounts you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Subscriptions & billing

• The first 10 lessons and a sampler of quizzes are free.
• Full access (all 30 lessons, 100+ quizzes, AI Tutor, multiplayer trivia, achievements, certificates) costs $24.99 / year at the time of writing. The current price is always shown on the Upgrade page before you check out.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. You can manage or cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal — access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Refunds: we offer a refund within 7 days of the original charge if you haven't completed more than 3 paid lessons. Email us via Contact.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Pick a strong password and enable two-factor authentication.
• One account per person. Don't share login credentials.
• We can suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service (spam, scraping, hammering the API, harassing other users in study rooms or trivia chat).

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the lessons, quiz answers, or any other paid content.
• Use the AI Tutor to generate harmful, illegal, or off-topic content. We log requests for safety review.
• Post personal data of others in public profiles, study rooms, or trivia chat.

5. Educational content disclaimer

Learning Accounts teaches general accounting principles. It is not a substitute for personalised advice from a licensed CPA or tax professional. Always verify with a qualified professional before making real-world financial or tax decisions.

6. Intellectual property

Lessons, quizzes, course copy, branding and visual designs belong to Learning Accounts. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own learning while your account is active.

Anything you write or upload — feedback, profile photo, study-room messages — stays yours, but you grant us a license to display it inside the product as needed (e.g. show your profile photo to other students).

7. No warranties & liability

Learning Accounts is provided “as-is”. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every answer in every lesson is perfectly current with the latest accounting standards. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email and on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
